Ethiopia experiences 3-5 months of rainy season each year. During the rainy season, it rains every day, making it very difficult for families to stay dry in their homes. Many of the homes of the families we serve are made from natural materials such as sticks and mud. Rain leaks into their home through the roof leaving the family cold and wet. Your donation will ensure that a 10-meter tarp (32.81 ft) is given to a family for their home in order to keep them dry during the rainy season. These tarps are a treasured gift to these families. It allows them and their children to live a better quality of life during the rainy season.
